WONDEROPOLIS is an informational site that asks and answers interesting questions about the world. Every day, a new "Wonders of the Day" question is posted, and each is designed to get kids and families to think, talk, and find learning moments together in everyday life.

Youcubed - Online Student Course
How to Learn Math is a free class for learners of all levels of mathematics. There are 6 sessions, the first three are approximately 10 minutes long and the last three approximately 20 mins long. It combines really important information on the brain and learning with new evidence on the best ways to approach and learn math effectively.
Under the Sea
Under the Sea is a wonderful mathematics website which presents students with animated stories that teach mathematics lessons for grade 2-4. The lessons are divided into thirteen categories Counting Money, Number Forms. Place Value, Comparing and Ordering Numbers, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Fractions, Patterns, Perimeter, Time, 3-D & 2-D Objects and Shapes, and Data Analysis. Each animated lesson is accompanied by a printable worksheet and a Parent/Teacher guide. Each lesson is divided into sections and students can advance or rewind as needed. Under the Sea also provides a visual-based, animated Glossary of math terminology. Students can choose to access a new lesson or enter a secret code to finish a lesson.
Spy Guys
Spy Guys is a great mathematics website which presents students with interactive lessons that teach mathematics lessons for grade 4-6. In all there are 16 interactive lessons which focus on key math concepts. The videos are themed around secret agents. Also included are brief exercises to check understanding.

Math 5 Live is a neat mathematics website which presents students with animated stories that teach mathematics lessons for grade 4-6. In all there are twenty-three lessons for elementary school and middle school students. The lessons are divided into four categories; Number, Patterns and Relations, Shape and Space, Statistics and Probability. Each animated lesson is accompanied by a printable worksheet and assessment. Each lesson is divided into sections and students can advance or rewind as needed. Math 5 live also provides a visual-based, animated Glossary of math terminology.
Prodigy
Prodigy Math Game is a fantasy-based web and app game that covers skills learned in grades one through eight. Kids answer math questions to earn spells, which they use to battle monsters as they move through different worlds on the way to Wizard Academy.
3 Act Tasks: This problem based approach is an excellent way to develop students' ability to question, engage in problem solving, develop a range of strategies, and mathematically model. Graham Fletcher has created many 'Three Act Tasks' for Elementary aged students. You will find an explanation of 3 Act Tasks along with a recording sheet to use when working to solve the problems under the Documents tab above.
